FEATURES & TOOLS
Our free app is an easy way to keep an eye on your drinking - it's also the perfect partner for our Online Coaching sessions.
The Drink Tracker
Create a picture of your drinking over time.
The Drink Tracker shows you a month view and allows you to monitor your alcohol unit consumption, calorie intake and spending on a daily basis, building a picture of how much you’re drinking over time.
Track ‘zero-alcohol’ days to see if you’re giving yourself a regular break or to keep count your period of abstinence.
Drinks can be personalised with values (units, calories, cost and currency symbol) to match what you actually drink.
View, save or share your Drink Tracker for any given period. Just click the share button on the Drink Tracker page to select the date range and view your drinking and goals at a glance.
Note-To-Self reminders
Record messages from your 'sober-self' to keep you on track.
You can set time-based reminders like: “Keep it to two pints MAX at after-work drinks tonight,” set to go off at 5pm on Fridays.
Or you can try setting location-based reminders which send you a message like: “How about the gym instead?” when you are near a favourite drinking haunt.
Mindfulness Videos
Manage cravings and feel calmer with our short mindfulness videos.
Our videos are narrated by a mindfulness expert who will take you through mindfulness techniques, breathing exercises, and urge surfing.
Two Minute Test
Take the two minute alcohol test to find out how risky your drinking is and find your local support service*.
*Please note the local support service tool is UK only.
Seven Day Summary
A snapshot of what your drinking is really costing you.
This is a snapshot of the last 7 days – sometimes seeing how much you’ve spent or calories you’ve drunk can motivate you like nothing else can! You can share your summary over social media or email to show off your progress or get encouragement from your friends.
If you prefer, you can also create a pdf of your Drink Tracker for any given period. Just click the ‘share’ button on the Drink Tracker page to select the date range and view your drinking over a longer time period.
Event Diary
Reflect on how your drinking may be linked to negative events like arguments and hangovers.
Record hangovers, cravings to drink, arguments and accidents to get a better understanding of how your drinking affects you.
As well as a general overview of events, these entries are displayed in your Drink Tracker so you can see how your drinking is linked to, and maybe causes, negative events (this is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques).
Goals
Set specific, measurable time-bound goals via our app to help reduce your intake.
Set and share goals to help you stay on track – you can set a target for a day, a week, or a month which can be either unit, calorie or spending based.
For example:
- Drinking less than 1,000 calories in a week
- Drinking less than £20 in a weekend
- Or staying dry for January.
You can share your goals with family and friends over social media or email. Sharing goals makes them real and makes you accountable which means you are more likely to achieve them. Your family and friends can encourage you too!
Your goals are displayed in your Drink Tracker. When the goal period finishes you will get a message to say whether you achieved your goal or not.
